    My family and I are cruising for the 2nd time in May 2014 to the Bahamas. We want to do a Dolphin Encounter. Which would you recommend-Atlantis or Blue Lagoon. Our children are 9 and 5.

    I'm so excited to hear you will be embarking on your second magical voyage this coming May!  Nine and five are perfect ages to experience an unforgettable dolphin experience in Nassau.  I really think you will love either choice, but I will give you an idea of what to expect with each experience.  At Atlantis, you have the option to explore the replica created to show the ancient ruins of Atlantis and incredible marine life in the Predator Lagoon if you select the Atlantis Dolphin Cay.  The other Atlantis option, the Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction and Aquaventure gives you the opportunity to add some splashtacular fun at the 141-acre waterpark on property.  If you decide on this option, be sure to measure your five year old because all the water slides require a height of 48", but there is a water playground and the Aquaventure rivers system for the younger participates.   The Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter is a bit farther than Atlantis, but if you book the morning tour you will have time to stay and enjoy the beach for the day.  If you looking for time to relax and enjoy the water this is a great option!
    Like I said before, I don't think you can go wrong with either option, Courtney!  It really comes down to which "extra" sounds more appealing to your crew.
