Ahoy Tamela!
Welcome to planDisney! Summer in the Mediterranean on a Disney Cruise? That sounds
DREAM-y if you ask me! Before you know it, you'll be relaxing in the sunshine on the
Disney Dream and enjoying an amazing vacation!
Tamela, I always believe that the best part of any Disney vacation is sharing it with the people I love. You and your family members will easily be able to plan
onboard activities and
Port Adventures together - no magic wand needed! Before starting, you'll want to make sure your
reservations are linked. If you booked both of the staterooms yourself, you should see both reservations under "
My Reservations." When you go to book your activities, you'll be able to select guests from both staterooms to participate. If the staterooms were booked separately, you should see an "Add Reservations" option on that page. Here you can enter the reservation details and, just as easy as saying "bibbidi-bobbdi-boo," you'll be linked! Problems linking your reservations? Hakuna Matata! Simply
call the Disney Cruise Line team and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to help. Make sure to pay close attention to
when your booking window opens for activities and Port Adventures as many have limited capacity and are very popular. My top recommendations for not-to-miss activities on the Disney Dream are a dinner at the adult-exclusive restaurant,
Palo, and a massage at
Senses Spa!
Traveling as a family is also the perfect time to grab some great photos and
Shutters Photography has you covered. You'll find many opportunities around the ship for photos with characters as well as themed backgrounds which help to commemorate your voyage. Often, you can even find photographers at dinner snapping pictures of your family enjoying the evening. Photo packages are available for pre-order ahead of your cruise or can be added during your sailing. You can also choose to purchase individual photos as well if you see one that you just have to grab!
Tamela, I hope this helps you as you get ready to make magical memories at sea with your 'Ohana. Remember that you've got a friend in me here at planDisney and we're happy to help with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future!
Happy Sailing!
