    My family and I are cruising at the end of June this year and I'm trying to figure out how much to budget for tips. There will be four of us. My husband and myself and our two boys who are 13 and 2 years old. Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi Judy!

    I think budgeting for gratuities is a fantastic idea.  On my first cruise, I did not budget my tips in properly and I really messed up the budget.    Here are the Gratuities and Tipping guidelines suggested by Disney Cruise Line.  They make it super simple to follow.  I also believe that it's very reasonable.  I will tell you that I always give my stateroom host and servers extra.  I don't think any amount is enough to compensate them for the luxury and service they provide.  In my opinion, the service that you receive on a Disney ship does not compare to any other cruise line.  You'll be absolutely spoiled.  You are welcome to call Disney Cruise Line at (800)951-3532 to prepay your gratuities.  It will definitely make planning your trip a lot easier.
