Hiya Jaime!
Thank you so much for your questions! How wonderful! A Disney Cruise! I know you guys will have a BLAST! Magic Kingdom is a great place to spend a day before you head out to sea. I'd suggest that you dine at Be Our Guest for lunch, as is just an amazing experience for the princess in all of us!
My boys are almost the same age as your two, so I asked them about their FAVORITE attractions: Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Haunted Mansion (believe it or not) are the top two favorites. They also enjoy Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world," Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Prince Charming Regal Carousel. My boys also enjoy Big Thunder Mountain Railroad as well, and if your children are 44 inches tall, Space Mountain was also quite an experience for my oldest on our last trip! Don't forget to stop by Adventureland for a Dole Whip and a spin on the Jungle Cruise.
Make sure you visit Under The Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid in New Fantasyland as well!
If visiting Disneyland Resort in California, don't miss Cars Land!! Any of the on-property resorts are fabulous and have that Disney touch, but we have several Moms (and Dads) that enjoy the off-site accommodations as well.
Ari and
Amanda F enjoy Anabella (upgrade to the suite) and
Bernie suggests Howard Johnson and Portofino Inn, which are just a short walk away.
Thank you so much for your question and have a MAGICAL vacation!
Amanda
