My family and I are going on a cruise in 2025. My sister and her family are, too. We have a concierge room but my sister & family have a standard room. Can I request a cabana at Castaway Cay for the 7 of us together when I request with the concierge?

    Hi there, Paul!

Welcome to planDisney. Traveling on a Disney Cruise with extended family members is so much fun! My kids enjoyed playing with their cousins and grandparents on our previous Disney Cruises. It is also the perfect vacation with other family members because you can enjoy different activities separately (if preferred) but come back together for dinner and the nightly show.

When my family cruised with my kids' grandparents on the Disney Wish last fall, some of us stayed in a Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom while the rest of us were in a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. The family members staying in the Concierge Stateroom were able to request a Cabana on Disney Castaway Cay to accommodate Guests in both Staterooms. Most Cabanas can fit up to ten Guests, although there might be an extra charge for more than six Guests. There is also a Grand Family Cabana on the Family Beach that can fit up to 16 Guests. Our Cabana was next to the Grand Family Cabana, and it was beautiful!

The Cabana was a highlight of my family's cruise! Having a shady spot for lounging and eating was wonderful, and my family had a section of the beautiful beach all to ourselves. Bike rentals, tubes, floats, and more were also provided as part of our Cabana. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Did you know you can download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your mobile phone now? This helpful app has many planning features, such as booking Port Adventures and Onboard Experiences. It also has a fun calendar that counts down to your upcoming voyage!

Paul, I hope your family can reserve a Cabana! If you have other questions, please reach out to planDisney.

    Happy sailing!
    Jen
