My family consists of 6. Ranging from 8 years old to two year old twins. Can you recommend what restaurants will be more hands on with kids participation in order to entertain my clan?

Any of the character meals would definitely fit that description, Chris.  Beyond that, I would recommend booking a reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe.  I won't spoil the fun by telling you about all the shenanigans, but rest assured that it's about as hands-on a meal as you can get.  Your older ones would probably really enjoy the stick horse races that take place there nightly.  Additionally, 'Ohana would be a good bet, in part because they run "coconut races" around the dining room.  They have other fun events going on throughout the course of the meal as well.  Those ideas should definitely get you headed in the right direction!  Enjoy your trip.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
