If my family consists of 8 adults and two of them qualify for a DAS pass can both DAS members and the remaining 6 get the same time for rides? And can they both get the same advanced ride choices and times? Would they both have to be on the same chat.

    Hi Lisa!

First off, a big thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question! It’s fantastic to hear about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World with such a wonderful group of friends and family. Planning a trip as special as this, particularly when coordinating around the Disability Access Service (DAS) for members of your party, is key to ensuring everyone has a magical experience together.

You’re asking about coordinating DAS passes for two of your party members and ensuring the rest of your group of eight can ride together at the same times. While the DAS system doesn’t offer a direct way to link passes for coordinating ride times across different families, nor is there a chat option, you’re on the right track by planning to select the next attraction at the same time for both DAS members. This approach, focusing on timing and communication within your group, is indeed a smart strategy to keep everyone together. It’s clear you’re putting a lot of thought into making the trip enjoyable for everyone, which is absolutely wonderful!

To add a sprinkle of pixie dust to your planning, consider integrating the DAS with the Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane selections. Since DAS can utilize the Lightning Lane entrances, combining these services can optimize your park experience, allowing your group to enjoy even more attractions with minimal wait. This combination can truly enhance your day in the parks, offering a smoother and more flexible way to create those magical Disney moments together.

Don’t forget to have everyone download the My Disney Experience app on their smartphones. It’s going to be an invaluable tool for managing DAS return times, Genie+ selections, dining reservations, and so much more, right at your fingertips. The app is a great way to keep your plans fluid and ensure everyone is looped in on the day’s itinerary.

We’re thrilled you’ve chosen Walt Disney World Resort as the backdrop for your group’s adventure. The magic of Disney shines brightest when shared with loved ones, and it sounds like you’re all set for an unforgettable gathering. If there are any more questions or anything else you need to make your trip planning smoother, please don’t hesitate to ask. Here’s to a journey filled with laughter, joy, and a generous helping of Disney magic!

Happy planning, and again, thank you for visiting planDisney, Lisa!

    Best wishes,
