My family is considering a trip to WDW during the off season after Thanksgiving 2010.We are a party of 9. (My mom, my hubby & daughter, my sister & her hubby & two kids & my little sister) Any tips for where to stay and budgeting?

That is such a great time to visit Disney World! You'll get to see all of the beautiful Holiday decorations and enjoy very low crowds!

One of my favorite resorts is Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. It is a beautiful resort that is very family friendly and budget friendly!  My family stayed there last year with the Grandparents in an adjoining resort room.  We ate breakfast in the Food Court early every morning and it was so big in there we were always able to find a big table for the entire family and there were plenty of food options to please everyone.

One of the fun perks of staying there is taking the boat into Downtown Disney.  My family enjoys walking around and looking at all the fun stores and my kids even got to see Santa there one year.

This resort is considered a Moderate Resort, but it has always felt Deluxe to us while fitting into our budget!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Disney World Moms Panel!
