My family is considering a trip to WDW from December 30 - January 5 but are concerned about the crowds. Does the majority of the holiday crowd clear out on the 1st and do the parks become a little less crowded after New Years Eve?

    Hi Susan!
Holiday Week is the single busiest time of year at Walt Disney World. There will still be some residual crowds around New Year's Eve and Day but then you would usually see a decline in crowds most years. This year is unique in a way because New Year's Day is on a Wednesday. So, it is possible that many guests who booked for the New Year would be staying through that weekend. It will not be as crowded as the week before, but will still be busy.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip no matter when you go!! :)
