    My family and I are considering staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Lodge. The description and pics from the website are fantastic. My question is have you stayed there and what can you tell me about the resort that the website may have not mentioned.

    I am honored that you asked me this question because my absolute FAVORITE place to stay at Walt Disney World are the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

    Here are the top-five reasons why I love staying at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort:

    1. My family loves the laid-back atmosphere and the beautiful scenery! It's the perfect place to decompress after a TIGGER-ific day in one of the Disney Theme Parks!

    2. This Disney property is perfectly located on Seven Seas Lagoon, which means you are just a quick boat ride away from Magic Kingdom! This will save your family so much travel time to beat the crowds and enjoy a MAGICAL day.

    3. The full-kitchen in each cabin is SO nice! This allows you to save money by cooking several meals at the cabin throughout your vacation. It's also nice to have a great place to put all of your drinks and snacks. NOTE: You can actually pre-order your groceries, and they will be delivered by 5:00 PM on the day you check in!

    4. Our family really takes advantage of the outdoor activities this Disney property has to offer! On our last vacation, we went fishing, and several of my family members went horseback riding! NOTE: When you stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, I would highly recommend taking a rest day from going to a Disney Theme Park in order to enjoy all the great amenities.

    5. Make sure you rent a golf cart! This is the number one reason why my family loves this place! Renting a golf cart allows you to freely travel all throughout the resort and not have to wait for the internal bus system.
