My family is considering a Disney trip Christmas 2010. Can resorts assist with ensuring Santa finds the kids in the hotel when he passes over Florida? Kids in our family are big believers and we want to ensure that Santa will not forget their stockings.

Hi, Lorie! I've never been this excited to answer a question! You mentioned my two favorites...Disney and Christmas! Our kids are big believers also, and I have just the answer for you. First, you'll want to contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Dream Makers at 407-827-3505 to tell them when you're arriving and where you're staying. You'll also want to brainstorm with them about your ideas and get a few suggestions from them. (They are masters at making magic happen!) If you have stockings for your kids that you use year after year, ask the Dream Makers how to ship them to WDW prior to your arrival. Then, using your ideas with their suggestions and resources, I'm sure that they'll be able to make a little Disney Christmas magic happen for your kids in an incredibly memorable way. While you're out of your room, you possibly may be able to have them set up an in-room Christmas celebration complete with a tree, decorations and presents...those Dream Makers love to dream big! Also, don't forget those traditional items you can bring or ship from home such as ornaments, advent calendars or matching PJs.  A combination of the magic of Disney and the traditions of home are sure to make a lasting impression on your family for many years, and the Dream Makers can ensure that St. Nick not only finds your children but makes a WDW Christmas extra special for them this year. I'd love to know how it goes! Have a wonderful day, and a blessed Christmas celebration at WDW!
