    My family is considering a cruise in August. I'm trying to find the best and most economical way to get to Port. I hate to rent a car at Orlando International Airport for it to sit in the garage for a week? Suggestions welcome. Thank you.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you and your family are considering setting sail to paradise aboard Disney Cruise Line! There are so many incredible itineraries to choose from. Also, each of the four vessels is packed with fun on every deck!

    My suggestion for you is to purchase Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation. Once you book your cruise, you can add ground transfers onto your reservation and not need to worry about renting a car and driving yourself to Port Canaveral! A motor coach will pick you up from the Orlando International Airport and take you to Port Canaveral the morning your cruise sets sail. After your Disney Cruise, a motor coach will take you from Port Canaveral back to the Orlando International Airport in order to catch your flight back home. The current cost of Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation is $35.00 per person, each way. We utilize the ground transfers every time we take a Disney Cruise Line cruise!

    My favorite moment while taking Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral is seeing the cruise ship, off in the distance, for the first time. Just seeing the ship gets my family and me so excited for all the adventures that await us during our voyage with Captain Mickey!
