Hi, Danielle! Welcome to planDisney!
There is nothing that puts a smile on my face quite like a visit with my favorite Disney pals. My family and I have a long-standing tradition of kicking off the first morning of a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation with breakfast at
Chef Mickey's. Character dining is so much fun, and combining your character encounters with a delicious meal frees up your theme park time for other attractions. Although Mickey and his friends won't be returning to greet Guests at Chef Mickey's until December 16, 2020, some other character dining options will be available at the time of your visit in late November. Character dining is very popular, so don't forget to
make a reservation. Dining reservations can currently be booked 60 days in advance.
Over at
Disney's Riviera Resort, Guests can experience Breakfast a la Art with Mickey & Friends at
Topolino's Terrace. The food here is exceptional! I highly recommend the sour cream waffle. In addition to a phenomenal meal, you will also have the opportunity to see Mickey and his friends in adorable outfits inspired by various artistic disciplines. My daughter is a dancer, so she loved interacting with Ballerina Daisy.
If you are hoping to have a meal with the characters while visiting one of the theme parks,
Garden Grill Restaurant in
EPCOT is currently offering character dining. At
Disney's Hollywood Studios, Guests can experience Minnie's Seasonal Dining at
Hollywood & Vine. While traditional character dining is not currently available at
Magic Kingdom Park, Cinderella has been know to sometimes greet Guests at
Cinderella's Royal Table, and the Beast often puts in an appearance at
Be Our Guest Restaurant. However, these character appearances in Magic Kingdom Park cannot be guaranteed.
Please be aware that due to
current health and safety concerns, characters will need to maintain physical distance from Guests. Although the characters cannot visit you right at your table or sign autographs, they will be interacting with Guests and will happily pose for pictures, all from an appropriate distance. While character dining may currently look a bit different from what we're used to, I'm sure it will still be an experience that you and your family will remember fondly for yEARs to come!
See ya real soon!
