Bright suns, Brenda! The planet Batuu awaits your arrival later this summer! It sounds like you will be traveling with some young padawans when you visit
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in
Disney's Hollywood Studios!
Rider Switch is yet another great feature of your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Rider Switch allows one adult to wait with a child (or other non-rider) while the rest of your group enjoys the attraction. When your party returns, the adult who sat out with the non-rider can then experience the attraction without having to wait in line. One of the things that I really appreciate about Rider Switch is that up to two other Guests may enjoy the attraction the adult who waited with the non-rider. This way Guests don't have to experience the attraction alone!
A
listing of all of the rides and attractions that offer Rider Switch can be found on the Walt Disney World Resort website! Good news! Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is included on that list! I don't see Rise of the Resistance currently included on that list, but the Boarding Group system utilized for Rise of the Resistance should help to solve your issue of having a young one(s) who might not be able to experience this attraction with you.
Brenda, because it sounds like you are traveling with some young ones, I wanted to share a little extra pixie dust with you! When visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to experience
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway! This is the newest attraction at the park! It can be enjoyed by children of all ages! This attraction will take you into the cartoon world of Mickey and all of his pals. Your engineer into this amazing world of Disney magic is none other than Goofy himself! Oh, look out for the swirly tornado...that's my favorite part of the ride!
Come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions as you prepare for your visit! May the Force be with you!
