Hi Rebekah,
This sounds like a great trip with so much to celebrate - first trips, birthdays, and an anniversary! Let me give you some thoughts on how you might celebrate on this trip.
First, I suggest that you pick up the free celebration buttons available at Guest Relations at any Disney theme park. You can get the buttons for "First Visit," "Happy Birthday," and "Happy Anniversary." These buttons are really fun to wear around Walt Disney World. You will hear cast members and other guests alike acknowledging your special occasions. Sometimes, you may even have a little extra pixie dust sprinkled on your vacation, like a surprise cupcake to help celebrate your day. Though this kind of extra treat is not guaranteed, it is fun when it happens!
Since it is their first trip to Walt Disney World, I suggest that you order the
Walt Disney World Planning DVD and watch it with your children. In doing so, you can start to get an idea of which attractions appeal the most to them, and you can start to plan your must-do activities at Walt Disney World.
Since your celebrations mainly are for you and your husband, how about a fun night out without the children? There are a couple of options for child care for a grown-up night out. If your children are all three years old or older and potty trained, they can attend the
Children's Activity Centers, where they can participate in fun activities supervised by wonderful cast members. If you have younger children, or if you prefer, you can contact kidsniteout.com to arrange in-room child care. You and your husband could have a nice night at a Disney Signature Restaurant.
I would love to help you plan more Rebekah; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
