My family is coming to WDW 10/12, we are planning on going to the M N S S H P. 3 adults, 2 kids(17 & 13). Will it be fun for them, can we wear our own costumes(pirates or pacman and the ghosts) that have nothing to do with Disney?

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is great fun for guests of all ages, Judy (just ask my seventy-year-old grams!), so I am confident that your children will enjoy it every bit as much as my seventeen and thirteen year old daughters do!  As for costumes, you will find that the majority of guests wear Disney related costumes.  That said, there are those who don't.  My family has attended the event in both Disney and non-Disney costumes and has had a fabulous experience no matter what we're wearing.  Your pirate costumes could definitely be construed as Disney related as they have one or two famous pirates of their own.  And I'm sure that you'd get lots of compliments on your Pac-man theme, too!  No matter which you decide on, I hope you have a great evening full of treats!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
