My family will be coming to wdw on november15. I have 2 questions. One, what type of shoes is best when visiting Blizzard Beach. And 2 are refrigerators automatically in rooms at Allstars sports resort. I need it for my insulin. Thanks

    Hi Vickie!

My son and I love going to the two amazing Water Parks in Walt Disney World, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach!  We always wear our water shoes (Crocs) when we are in the Water Parks.  I have tried various types of water shoes in the water parks of Walt Disney World and I have found that Crocs seem to work best for me because they are lightweight and dry quickly. The pavement in the Water Parks gets quite warm on a sunny day and it is quite rough on the feet.  So having something on your feet offers the needed protection and helps avoid any foot injuries as well.  You can wear water shoes on almost all of the water rides including the Lazy River and Wave Pool at Blizzard Beach.  I would recommend wearing your water shoes in the Wave Pool because the bottom is very textured and rough.  I definitely wouldn't leave home without your water shoes if you are planning to go to a Water Park during your Walt Disney World vacation!  All the rooms in All Star Sports should have a mini refrigerator now.  You also can request one when you check in for medical reasons too (if your room by chance did not have a refrigerator).

I hope that your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
