Hello moms, Me and my family will be coming to wdw next year and we are wanting to stay in the wdw resorts in the park or around the park. which resort is best for a 4 year old princess and a 5 year mickey/pirate?

Hi Tiffany - all of the resorts at Walt Disney World are wonderful, and each has its own merits.  One of the biggest factors to choosing a resort is your budget.  There are three different resort classes - value, moderate, and deluxe, and I think you'll be happy regardless of which hotel class you choose.

If you do have a large enough budget for a deluxe resort, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is fabulous for kids who love animals.  My children absolutely love seeing the animals right from the balcony of our room.  For moderate resorts, your kids would probably love the new Royal Rooms at the Port Orleans Riverside.  I haven't stayed there, but I've heard great things about them.

For a value resort, I'd recommend the brand-new Art of Animation resort.  I got a sneak peek a few weeks ago, and the whole resort is so colorful and fun.  The resort will offer both standard rooms and family suites.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
