My family is coming to WDW the first weekend in March. I noticed that Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes at 8:00pm but the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular is at 8:15pm. Is this correct? The show starts 15 minutes after the park closes?

Hello Shannon, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that your vacation is a few short weeks away!

This will be a vacation long remembered since you are ending one of your nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. The Star Wars fangirl in me loves the combination of pyrotechnics, state-of-the-art projection images and the most iconic movie soundtrack ever. You will be transported to a world a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. While you enjoy your spectacular scenes from your favorite Star Wars movies.

I checked with someone who is a big deal in the Resistance who was able to confirm that you will be able to view the fireworks at their scheduled time. You may want to find your viewing spot early because you will also be treated to a showing of Disney Movie Magic, a chance to enjoy memories from some of your favorite movie moments in this amazing projection show. All rides, attractions and restaurants will close at 8:00 P.M. After the fireworks you will be directed towards the Theme Park exit. Have a magical time and remember the force will be with your always.

    See ya real soon,
