MY family of 4 will be coming to WDW at the end of may of 2026 ... we have fabric(linen)bags for autographs will those work for the signatures of the characters? thank-you in advance Jennifer from WA

Hiya, Jennifer! Welcome back to planDisney!

Thanks for sharing your question with us. I bet you’re so excited for your spring trip to Walt Disney World. All the rides! All the snacks! All the magic! I’m sure you and your family will have an amazing time.

Characters have signed some less-than-traditional items for my kiddos over the years. Just off the top of my head, I know we’ve had Cinderella sign a comic book, Elsa and Anna sign a homemade t-shirt, and Elena of Avalor sign a (toy) magical sword. So your linen bags should be just fine for characters to sign.

Here are a couple of autograph tips to make sure your character experiences go smoothly.

    - If the bags don’t have a lot of structure to them, then I’d suggest putting a book or something solid inside the bag to give characters a firm place to sign.
    - You may have a specific writing utensil that works best on your bags, but keep in mind that markers or larger writing utensils are easier for some characters to hold than pens.
    - Don’t forget that not every character can sign their autograph. We visited with Olaf at Hollywood Studios on a previous trip, and he gave us an autograph card since he’s still learning to write.

Jennifer, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
