Hi, my family is coming to WDW and Beach Resort for the first time in 3/12 . My children are 9,9, and 6. I am a real foodie and would love some rest. suggestions. Also, where is the best character dining (with good food)?

    Hi Wendy!

If you are foodie then you should read The Disney Food Blog, an independent blog created by AJ Wolfe.  She's famous in the Disney fan community for providing lots of details and recommendations concerning dining choices at Walt Disney World.  You can even subscribe and articles will show up in your e-mail inbox every day!

With regards to the food, I think the best character dining meal is 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian and Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Tusker House was one of my favorite places to eat, even before they got characters (a recent addition).  Breakfast is pretty easy to make, and I think they are all about the same for that particular meal, though my favorite is Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club.

As a foodie, I would recommend the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort, Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Yachtsman Steakhouse in the Yacht Club, Bistro de Paris in the France Pavilion at Epcot, and Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian.  In fact, Victoria and Albert's is the dining experience at Walt Disney World; if your budget allows, definitely don't miss it!

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions, but definitely visit The Disney Food Blog!
