Hello my family will be coming to wdw around the 25th of this month for 6 days and i have a 5yr daughter which this will be her first visit. which parks should we def go to she loves the princesses and the castles. she has never been on a roller coster.

    Hi Angela,

I know there are many differing opinions about which parks you "must" visit.  I enlisted an expert (my 5 year old princess) to help with this question.  She told me her favorite parks, in order of preference and 3 of her favorite attractions at each.
    1. Magic Kingdom: Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, it's a small world, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Dumbo, Magic Carpets of Aladdin (I couldn't get her to name just 3)
    2. Epcot (this was, surprisingly, a close 2nd): Soarin', Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo and Friends.  She also likes meeting the princesses in their respective countries in World Showcase.
    3. Hollywood Studios: Beauty and the Beast, Disney Jr Live Onstage, Toy Story Midway Mania
    4. Animal Kingdom: Legend of the Lion King, Finding Nemo, Kilimanjaro Safari

Her favorite parade/fireworks show is at Magic Kingdom.  She absolutely loves getting her face painted - it's quick and relatively inexpensive.  If you can get a reservation, I recommend dining with princesses.  Akershus at Epcot has a great character breakfast, and dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare is also fun.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
