    my family is coming to wdw in april and we have the quick service dining plan... i was wondering if you can you that plan at the buffet service restaurants.. i'm kinda confused by the meal plans and where to use the points. this forum is great! thanks

    Hi Tim,  I can definitely understand why you are a bit confused with all of the dining plan options.  It can definitely get complicated.

    Buffet service restaurants are considered table service, and therefore, quick service meal credits cannot be used.  The best way to think of quick service is as counter service -- you order your meal at a counter and then carry it to a table to eat. 

    There are plenty of great quick service locations to eat your meals, and most of them offer great value.  My three favorites for unique, great food are Cantina de San Angel and Tangierine Cafe at the World Showcase in Epcot, and Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom.
