My family is coming to Walt Disney World the first week in February for my daughters 4th birthday. I have made several meal reservations but wanted to see if there was anything else we needed to make reservations for ahead of time.

    Hi Brad,

Celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World is truly a magical experience!  You and your family will look back on photos from this priceless vacations for years to come and remember the happy memories that you made.

Making advance dining reservations is key to having a hassle-free experience.  When you made the reservations, did you indicate that you were celebrating a birthday?  At many of the table service restaurants they will sometimes add a little confetti to the table or even bring a cupcake to the birthday girl to celebrate the milestone.

One fun thing that you might want to consider is making a reservation for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  At this beauty salon, your little girl can be transformed into her favorite Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva or Pop Princess.  It's a fun extra.  Packages start at around $50.00 for this experience.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
