My family and I are coming to visit in Sept. 2012. While we are there we will be celebrating my husbands birthday. I have reserved dinner for us in downtown disney. Are there any other suggestions that would make his birthday even more magical?

Hi Kristyn!  The first thing that comes to mind when you are already in the Downtown Disney area is an evening at Cirque Du Soleil!  My husband loves that show and can see it just about every visit to Walt Disney World.  There are two shows nightly so you can check the availability for the night you already have dining reservations.

There often is entertainment at some of the other clubs as well. Check out the House of Blues to see what schedule they have out. You can pop in for a movie and treat yourself to Fork and Screen and although you will have eaten somewhere else you can enjoy a movie while feasting on a yummy dessert or fancy drink.

Away from that area there are also great opportunities such as an Illuminations cruise from the Yacht and Beach resorts.  Or a Wishes fireworks cruise from a resort on Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon.

Don't forget that the Boardwalk area is hopping every evening and one of my favorite spots is the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls. I am sure you will plan a super birthday evening for your husband!
