    My family are coming and staying in a Disney resort hotel, I however, am a California resident and live not too far away. We wanted to enter as a family and I was wondering how and if we could do that?

    You're going to have an amazing trip with your family at the Happiest Place on Earth. Whenever I have family that visits from out of town, they also love to visit the Disneyland Resort. It should be a Spooktacular time since we are right in the middle of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. You'll see Minnie, Mickey, and the rest of their friends dressed in their Halloween best. Don't forget your camera as they love to take selfies and say hello. 
     
    It sounds like you are going to be meeting up with your family and then entering the park together. When Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park reopened after the closures, there were some rules in place as far as how many households or people in a group could enter together. Those rules are no longer in place and I am happy to tell you that you are more than welcome to enter with your family. Just find a place where you all will meet up and then you can enter the parks together as long as everybody has their own theme park ticket.
