Hey, howdy, hey, Caitlin! Your magical vacation is coming up, and I'm so excited for you to
celebrate summer at the Walt Disney World Resort! You'll be arriving just in time to explore some new offerings like Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom Park - I'm most excited to experience the next part of Tiana's story and see the magic of New Orleans brought to life on this attraction! But for now, let's dig into your question about parking while enjoying lounge dining at the resorts!
Guests visiting Disney Resort hotels for select shopping, dining, entertainment, and recreational purposes may be able to
park onsite at the Disney Resort hotels for a limited amount of time, dependent upon parking availability. I have been personally asked to verify dining reservations at select Disney Resort hotels and been given a parking pass for about 3 hours, but without a confirmed reservation, it will honestly depend on availability and is not guaranteed. Hakuna matata, though, Caitlin, I've got some recommendations that will help ensure you get to experience the dining of your dreams without worry.
Caitlin, as a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, one of the best perks is that you can leave the driving to Disney and utilize complimentary transportation all around the resort area! My panelist pals recently shared all the
best advice about using Disney transportation to its full potential - and there's a new
planDisney podcast dedicated to transportation as well - be sure to take a listen before you arrive as
Lizzie and
Nimmy offer their top tips and tricks for getting around!
Since both
Tambu Lounge and
California Grill are on monorail resorts, you can take a bus from Coronado Springs Resort to Magic Kingdom Park and board the monorail, or you can even enjoy a walking path to Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort if you prefer. If you'd rather have your own vehicle, you can take advantage of complimentary parking as a Disney Resort hotel guest at the Transportation and Ticket Center and board a monorail from there to your resort dining experience!
Caitlin, I hope this helps you plan your transportation and your dining for your upcoming visit! If you have any other vacation planning questions, come back and let us know! At
planDisney, we're all ears!
See you real soon,
Alison
