Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Hello, my family and I are coming for run Disney event. Our kids are ages 4 &6, and although I'm sure all the resorts are great, are there any that would be better for younger kids? Also, any with indoor pool? Thank you

    Choosing where to call home is the first step in planning a race-cation to Walt Disney World® Resort. Here are a few of my top suggestions based on your children's ages and keeping a great pool area a priority. Unfortunately, there are no indoor pools available. 

    • Value level - Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This whimsical resort is the newest in the lineup of Value Resorts and boasts the largest pool, The Big Blue Pool, on property. It even plays music underwater! And I'm sure the pool's Finding Nemo theme will be a kid pleaser. 

    • Moderate Level - Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This would be my suggestion in the moderate level for your children. With two watersides, white sand beaches, and the option of booking a pirate themed room, your children will love all there is to see and do at this tropical paradise. 

    • Deluxe Level - Disney's Beach Club Resort. This is my favorite resort! I love the laid-back beachy feel of days-gone-by at this resort. I especially love Stormalong Bay, the resort pool complex. It boasts a 150 foot waterslide, The Flying Jib, as well as a lazy river with free raft rentals, and plenty of poolside games and activities. You will even find a sand-bottom pool in the middle of a beach. In addition, the rooms are nice and large and of superior quality. The best part, this is a great location when participating in a runDisney event.
