We are a family of 4 coming in October. This will be my girls' (8 & 6) first WDW experience and we're staying 6N/7D. Which dining plan is best-the standard or the deluxe? We want to experience as much as we can while we're there but remain flexible.

Hello Jessica and welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

What a great gift for your daughters to visit Walt Disney World!  At their age, it will be a fun filled experience.  My kids are 6 and 8 year old and we have always had fun and active vacations.

Walt Disney World dining plans offer great value to many guests.  For my family the Deluxe Dining Plan offers the greatest value.  Most days we do a Character breakfast or lunch, to later experience a Signature dinner.  We also make the most of the 6 night plan during a 7 day vacation - until the night of check out.

Dining at restaurants inside the parks is great time management.  Also, some great restaurants are located at Disney resorts really close to the parks, with short travel times.

Dining experiences can be time to relax and slow down.  Our kids adore meeting Disney Characters but also enjoy trying different flavors and dishes while at Disney restaurants.

If you do not plan on visiting table-service restaurants most of the time, then the Dining Plan might be a better option.

To have the most relax and magical vacation guest can book advance dining reservations, with up to 180 days before our first vacation day.

Happy to help you plan a culinary Disney vacation.
Hope to hear more from you.
