Family of 5 coming in 2015, but not set on date. 2 choices are middle of June or between Christmas and New Years. Crowds at these times? Unbearably hot in June? Cheaper in June? We can't decide! :)

    Hi Carla,

This is a tough choice as the holidays are really the most magical time of yEAR to visit Walt Disney World! If it were up to me, I'd probably choose June given the crowd level during the period between Christmas and New Years. The crowds really will affect the ability to experience back to back attractions. I also like the fact we "rest" at the pool or take a quick cat nap during the summer months in the late afternoons. December weather is a bit unpredictable and you might not have the opportunity to swim. Some years we've worn shorts, others we're bundled in winter coats. In terms of rates, I'd encourage you to check out the independent site mousesavers.com, offering extensive rate charts and historical special offer data. From the homescreen, search "historical discounts" and you'll find every discount offered for several years past.

Does this help with your decision? I certainly wouldn't hesitate to encourage a holiday trip, but if you're considering different months, your vacation dollars are probably better spent in the month of June.

Please ask me any other questions coming to mind, Carla, as I'm happy to help you plan a magical vacation.

    Best wishes,
    Sherri
