My family and I are coming in march. My husband and I plan on having a date night before we leave. What do you suggest as far as a good restraunt and any ideas of something we may like to do:) thank you in advance

Hello Holly.  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  A date night at Walt Disney World sounds fantastic.  I've got some great ideas for you.

If my husband and I were to have a late night date night at Walt Disney World, we would love walking through the World Showcase at Epcot, in the evening, arm in arm.  The World Showcase is so much fun to explore and sample food and drinks from all over the world.  La Cava del Tequila is a fun lounge inside the Mexico Pavilion, perfect for a date night drink.  They offer great margaritas and light snacks like chips and guacamole.  It's really a fun place and perfect for a date night!

Another great date night idea is to have dinner at the California Grill located inside of Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The California Grill was recently renovated and is just beautiful.  Plus, they have an excellent menu and if you eat there later in the night, you'll be able to catch the fireworks over Magic Kingdom.  Be sure to have dessert, the Chocolate Pudding Cake is delicious.  After dinner, take advantage of heading to Magic Kingdom without kids.  My husband and I love being in the park together, riding our favorite rides and exploring the shops.

I hope this helps give you some ideas for your Walt Disney World date night.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
