Hi Anne Marie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You must live close to Walt Disney World! It's always nice to have family visit and it's such a bonus for you to be able to experience Walt Disney World Resort with them. Magic Kingdom Park does close to day guests at 6 p.m. on nights when
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be taking place. If you do not have a party ticket, you will be gently directed to the front of the park to allow you to exit.
If your family has their hearts set on Magic Kingdom Park, I would plan to arrive early to make the most of your day. Maybe you could plan for a special dinner at one of the resorts or at one of the restaurants at Disney Springs. If your family is open to suggestions, I would suggest choosing another park to visit. You could taste some of the delicious offerings at the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival or perhaps visit the new
Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Anne Marie, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions!
Wishing you many magical visits,
Amy H.
