Hello, My family and I will be coming February 2013. I have heard the climate can be a little chilly. We will be staying at Coronado Springs for the first time. Are the pools open year round? Are they heated? Thanks

    Hi Heather!!!

We are regular visitors during the month of February.  The average high in the month of February is in the upper 70's/low 80's and the average low is in the 50's.  The day time temps are wonderful, in my opinion.  I always wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt during the day time.  Once the sun does go down, there is a slight chill in the air, but I think it is still manageable with a light jacket.

The swimming pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are open year round.  The pools are slightly heated (probably around 80 degrees for the water temperature.)  We were able to swim this past February with no issues whatsoever.  I think that you will be pleasantly surprised!

Please let me know how else I can help you!!
