Hi, Nytasha!
With a family of 6, saving some money sure would help when planning a Walt Disney World vacation! You will want to keep checking the
Special Offers section of the Disney website to see if there are any offers that would suit your dates and your budget. There are currently some deals for room discounts, but you need to book by mid-June, so get planning!
There are many ways to save on your vacation. Let's start with your room. I suggest booking at a Value Resort. You will either want to book 2 Standard Rooms (request connecting rooms) which will give you total of 4 double beds and 2 full bathrooms. Another option at a Value price would be to book a Family Suite at the All-Star Music Resort. These 2 room suites have one room with a queen bed and the living area with pull out sofas. These rooms have a kitchenette, 2 full bathrooms, and sleep 6.
When booking your park tickets, stick with "base" tickets without adding on pricey options like park hopping or water parks. These options are nice, but with a party of 6 your cost increase will be huge if you start to add to your tickets.
Finally, your savings starts at home when you are packing! Bring along autograph books, pens, rain ponchos, sunscreen, hats, and a nice large tote bag to carry everything into the parks. By bringing these items from home, you will avoid buying these things at a premium price in WDW.
Your first step will be to check that Special Offer link and get your room booked. If you need help with economical meals or any planning tips, just
let me know! Good luck planning your magical vacation.
