My family is coming 2 DW in July. Our 2 youngest are going to be three and just over a year old. We are staying @ one of the DW resorts & plan on using the transportation services to and from the park(s). Are our 2 youngest required to be in car seats?

Hi Christy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm overflowing with excitement for you to experience a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your little ones! With two young kiddos of my own, I know just how special it is to see the magic of a Disney vacation through the eyes of your kids.

When using the complimentary Walt Disney World transportation, the children will not be using car seats. My husband and I either hold them in our laps, or if they are extra insistent on being a "big kid," they sit in a seat next to us. This applies to bus, boat and monorail transportation. You can take your strollers on board with you as well, just know that they will need to be folded up for the journey. If you use Disney's Minnie Van Service during your trip, they will have two car seats available for you.

On our trips, we try to schedule a break in the middle of the day for naps, and it is SO easy to hop on the complimentary transportation back to our Disney Resort hotel for this much needed rest. I think you will really be thankful for the option during your summer vacation!

Enjoy your trip, Christy! Be prepared for lots of smiles and precious memories. Happy planning!
