Hi there, our family is coming down for a week at the end of April and are considering going to the After Hours Event at Magic Kingdom while we are there. What rides are open during this event?

    Hello, Maura,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Attending one of the Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park (separate admission required) can provide guests with lots of extra magic and fun at the park. I especially like that crowds are often lighter, so I can enjoy many of the popular attractions with shorter wait times. During the event, you should find over 20 attractions open including the following (subject to change):

    Astro Orbiter
    The Barnstormer
    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
    Country Bear Jamboree
Disney Princess Greetings at Princess Fairytale Hall
    Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    Haunted Mansion
    “it’s a small world”
    Jungle Cruise
    Mad Tea Party
    The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    Mickey’s PhilharMagic
    Peter Pan’s Flight
    Pirates of the Caribbean
    Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
    Space Mountain
    Splash Mountain
    Swiss Family Treehouse
    Tomorrowland Speedway
    Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid
    Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room

And if that wasn't enough, guests can enjoy popcorn, ice cream bars, and select bottled beverages that are included in their admission.  It is easy to feel as though you've been sprinkled with pixie dust!

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
