    Hi! My family is coming down this summer. We are celebrating two birthdays. One is my daughter turning 9 and nephew 11. Want dining experiences - could you suggest for their ages? My nephew is not into the character dining. Anything else cool for him?

     There is no place better to celebrate birthdays than Walt Disney World, Disney has lots of wonderful options to make this day extra special for all ages!
    For a 9 year old girl I would suggest checking out Cinderella's Happily Ever After dinner at 1900 Park Fare located in the Grand Floridian, in my opinion a less costly easier to get reservation over Cinderella's Royal Table.  This dinner features Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (Step-mother), Drizella and Anastasia (step-sisters).  While meeting Cinderella is the dream of most little girls, I have to say the entertainment provided by Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia are the highlight of this meal (they will have you in stitches)!  For a special surprise, this is one of the locations where you can order your daughter Cinderella's Royal Slipper Dessert.  It's a white chocolate slipper filled with raspberries and cream, with a little chocolate cup to the side filled with chocolate mousse.  The cost of the dessert is $12.50 and can be ordered by calling (407)824-2578, it must be ordered 48 hours in advance.
    Having a soon to be 11 year old myself, it can present a challenge when wanting to do a special dining experience just for him.  My son loves the Sci-Fi Dine Inn at Hollywood Studios.  The menu features the typical fanfare of milkshakes and burgers, but the fun is eating your meal inside of a convertible while watching fun, albeit cheesy, Sci-Fi clips and snack commercials.  You can also order a specialty cake to celebrate your nephew's birthday at this location by calling (407)827-2253.  I hope you have a magical time celebrating your daughter and nephew's birthdays, please let us know if we can help with anymore of your questions!
