Hello there, Christopher!
I’ve always wanted to do a split stay! This sounds like the perfect way to experience all that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. It’s tough to choose
where to stay when the options are so unique and specially themed.
Even though you purchased your
MagicBands through the Disney website, I recommend checking that your MagicBands are linked to your
My Disney Experience account so that everything linked to your account will be linked to your MagicBands. I think it’s really easy to do this on the My Disney Experience mobile app because once you open the app, all you need to do is select the three horizontal bars in the bottom right corner of the screen and “MagicBands and More.” On the MagicBands and More window, you can view the MagicBands associated with each account and their ID code that you can find on the back of each MagicBand.
As long as your Resort hotel reservations and MagicBands are linked to your account, you’ll be able to check into your Resort hotel with your MagicBand. This also means that you can take advantage of
Direct-to-Room Service, where you can check in on the mobile app before you arrive, and you can use your MagicBand or the My Disney Experience app to unlock your room door!
Before you arrive, make sure that everyone in your party has theme park
tickets,
theme park reservations, and a mode of entry (e.g., MagicBands, Disney MagicMobile Service, or paper tickets) for each day you plan on visiting the theme parks. Your entire party will think that you are Mr. Incredible with all of these planning skills under your belt.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
