My family is coming down on Jan 5th 2012 until Jan 11th. Will some of the Christmas decorations be there for the first few days we arrive? Especially being as it is the week after New Years?

    Hi Suzanne!

Generally speaking, the answer is "yes".  For example, the Christmas Tree at Epcot was still up during my visit this past January over Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday!  However, some will come down very quickly.  During that same trip, there were no Christmas decorations left in the Magic Kingdom for example,

I think early January is a great time to visit.  The crowds will be light and the weather should be nice, though you should definitely bring a jacket just in case!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
