My family and I will be coming down in early June, what would you suggest as the best Character dining for 2 boys 9 and 6? Thanks!

Hello Anna, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Character dining is such a blast, and for me, the pinnacle of character dining experiences is Chef Mickey's. If you've ridden the monorail around the resort loop, you've seen it as you glide through Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's a whole lot of family fun. Chef Mickey's the only spot where you can meet all of the "Fab Five" characters of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto, and the buffet is, in a word, amazing! We especially love breakfast here, with fluffy scrambled eggs, yummy cheesy potatoes, breakfast pizza, and of course - Mickey waffles!

Chef Mickey's is also just steps away from the Magic Kingdom, so it's the perfect way to start or end your Disney day.

If you'd like to explore other character dining options, just go to the Dining page on the Walt Disney World website and select "Character Dining" under the Dining Experience tab. You'll find everything from princess parties to beach-themed buffets. I'm sure there's something that your boys will love.

Thanks for stopping by today, Anna. Please come visit us again if you have any more questions.

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
