Hello all! We are a family of 4 coming over to Disneyworld for 3 weeks in July. The kids are 6 and 9 and my eldest has DCD and sensory problems. Any advice re rides to go on or avoid and how to plan the day would be appreciated many thanks! :)

I hate to "pass the buck," but I think you may find one of these two books helpful with your planning:  Passporter's Open Mouse for Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line and/or Walt Disney World with Disabilities.  They contain detailed information about the attractions to help you decide if they are appropriate for your son as well as many tips/suggestions to make the trip as successful as possible -- certainly more information than I can write here.

You can also click here to read from Disney about its accommodations for guests.

I apologize for not giving you lots of specific suggestions -- please don't hesitate to write back if you'd like more help.
