Hiya, Debbie! Welcome to
planDisney. It’s the spookiest time of year at the
Disneyland Resort, and you’re visiting when Halloween excitement will be at its height!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort offers so many fun ways to celebrate the season:
characters in costume,
decorations galore, and
lots of special treats (and no tricks)!
The Disneyland website’s
Hours & Events Calendar shows the entertainment schedule for both parks and
Downtown Disney for the next six weeks. That means you’ll be able to confirm exactly what will be on the schedule for October 19th on September 7th. While you should definitely check back to confirm, if you look at Mondays and Fridays right now, there aren’t any parades scheduled, and I haven’t heard any news about parades being added. The Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade will most likely take place twice daily, which is a mini parade featuring some of your favorite Disney pals in their finest Halloween costumes!
During
Oogie Boogie Bash, there isn’t a traditional parade, but an exciting new street party -
Madame Leota's Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party. This new experience is already very popular and promises to get you and the ghostly ghouls in your group in the Halloween spirit.
Debbie, I’m sorry to bear the bad news of the lack of parades in the parks during this time of year. I’m sure it will still be a magical visit with all of the fun decorations and characters out and about showing off their costumes. Have the best time at Oogie Boogie, and don’t forget to bring extra bags for candy, and even consider
