Happy day!!! Your arrival date is approaching soon! Since both of my girls have food allergies, I can understand your concern. Prior to arrival there is some information that guests can gather by reviewing online menus of the dining locations we plan to visit. I checked and the menus for
Gaston's Tavern and
Sleepy Hollow do not include allergy friendly details. There is a Special Dietary Requests team that might be able to provide more detailed information - try
contacting them via email. Since your visit is less than 14 days away, send that email immediately. You could also wait until you arrive and speak with a cast member onsite.
We focus on making
advanced dining reservations and reviewing menus prior to arrival. If you take a look at Tony's Town Square Restaurant, for example, the
lunch menu does provide some indication of allergy-friendly options. To find a restaurant menu, go to the homepage of the restaurant and click on View Menu. Then, select the meal period that you prefer and scroll through the menu to see allergy-friendly options.
When we arrive, we always speak to a cast member, typically a chef when possible, to make sure we know what the girls can eat. Quite honestly, I prefer speaking to a chef in the parks and resorts rather than trying to email prior to arrival because the chef can answer more specific questions and possibly offer an alternative! Snacks can be a little trickier, so we also bring some of our own snacks. Cast members have been extremely helpful and we have been so grateful for the many ways our girls' allergies have been accommodated during our visits.
