Hi Kathryn! You’re getting so close to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Let’s get right to answering your question so that you can make your Disney Park Pass Reservation.
Yes, Guests are required to have both a valid theme park ticket, as well as a Disney Park Pass Reservation, for the park(s) they’ll be visiting during their vacation. I just took a quick look at the
Disney Park Pass Reservation calendar. I see that Magic Kingdom is indeed booked for April 2, 2023. However, I see that both
EPCOT and
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park are available! I strongly encourage you to select one of those parks and make your reservation as quickly as possible!
Deciding between the two parks is a tough choice! Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some of my family’s favorite attractions! Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest are “must-do” attractions for us on any visit! We also love Kali River Rapids and Kilimanjaro Safaris! Also, no visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom is complete without taking in the Festival of the Lion King show! Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also home to Yak and Yeti Restaurant which is one of my favorite menus in all the Walt Disney World Resort!
Now, over at EPCOT, we’ve got the thrilling Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! This attraction alone is worth the visit to EPCOT! There is also Test Track, Mission: SPACE, Soarin’ Around the World, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Frozen Ever After, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure just to name a few popular attractions that your family will enjoy! And, there is World Showcase which will immerse you in the countries of the world, complete with their regional food and beverage selections!
Kathryn, I encourage you to check the Disney Park Pass Calendar for updates between now and April 2nd. Sometimes, additional reservations become available for parks that are currently marked as not available. If that’s the case, you can change your park reservation from one park to another. But, if Magic Kingdom does not become available, you can’t go wrong with either Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park or EPCOT! Your family is going to have a great time!
Happy Planning!
