Hi, my family and i will be coming to Disney World in Dec. the first week. Has Disney announced the taping of the Christmas Parade.

    Hi Toni!

The Christmas Day parade is historically filmed during the first weekend in December in the Magic Kingdom.  Some years Disney announces the availability of tickets for people wanting to participate as spectators (e.g. on Main Street USA), but in other years there are no tickets.  I have not heard anything for this year yet.  Nevertheless, you can still enter the Magic Kingdom when taping is going on.  Just know that Main Street USA will be crowded.  Also keep in mind that the parade takes a very long time to do, as it will be stopped and "rewound" at various points to make sure everything is just right for television!

Enjoy planning and have a magical time!  Write back if you have any more questions!
