My family and I are coming to Disney and were wondering if there are pickleball courts at the DVC resorts. We would love to play on our vacay. We are also off to Vero Beach for a few days and wondering the same thing.

Hey there, hi there, Shawna! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. I love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!

In just one month, you'll be arriving at your fabulous Disney Vacation Club Resort, ready to begin your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting! I love taking the time to enjoy the more leisurely side of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and the seemingly endless list of recreation activities ensures that even our downtime is packed with fun and magic. And I cannot even tell you how excited I am to hear that you will be spending a few days at Disney's Vero Beach Resort! We spent a few incredible days here after our Walt Disney World Resort vacation this summer, and I was stunned when I saw the endless list of recreation offerings and Resort activities. You can relax as much or as little as you'd like, and we cannot wait to go back! I'm thrilled to help you have the BEST. DAY. EVER! on your upcoming magical vacation.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there are currently no pickleball courts at the DVC Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort or Disney's Vero Beach Resort. While I will admit that I don't know much about pickleball, I do know that pickleball courts are different from tennis courts; but you can find tennis courts at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Disney's Old Key West Resort. You can also rent racquets and other equipment, as well as participate in even more awesome Resort activities at the Community Hall at the aforementioned Resorts (except for Beach Club Villas). Be sure to check it out!

You will also find tennis courts at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, as well as SO many other recreation activities. Besides the beach and oh-so-fun pool, you can rent bikes and ride on a nearby Jungle Trail, play miniature golf around the pool, play bocce ball, participate in a scavenger hunt, practice archery, make arts and crafts, and so much more. When you check in, be sure to stop by the front desk for the schedule of Resort activities, and ask about the current sea turtle activity. You're visiting near the last month of sea turtle season, and the beach walk with the sea turtle conservationist was my favorite activity of our entire vacation! Enjoy!

Shawna, while I know this probably was not the answer you were hoping for, I hope it was at least helpful! I hope you have the most magical and memorable vacation yet! Please stop by with any planning questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,
