Hi My family and i are coming to Disney in a week. I was wondering that if my mother has a disabled badge will this be able to be used on rides so she does not have to wait in a long lin Thank you And i have a condition will i need a letter of my doctor

    Hi there Lisa!

My father has a hard time walking long distances and also has trouble with waiting in long lines due to other medical issues. We were able to use the Guest Assistance Card "GAC" last year and it saved our family vacation. There were times when we would be rolling him through the park and weren't sure if we could make it into a ride without the use of the Guest Assistance Card because of the amount of people in the ride cue. To make sure my Dad was able to receive the Guest Assistance Card, I had him go to all of his doctors and had them write a recommendation and a small explanation of his disability. When we arrived at Guest Relations they looked at the letter and wrote up the GAC for the duration of the trip. The GAC does not automatically allow you front of line privileges but it will give you a more relaxed location to wait for the next available time to go on a ride or take in a show. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
