Hello My Family and I are coming to Disney in October 2018. My parents paid for the hotel and dining package. However, i was wondering if I can link my own credit card to my husbands and my magic bands instead of having to use my parents. Thank you Rachel

    Hi Rachel,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Your family vacation at Walt Disney World is just months away and I'm sure you're all getting more excited by the day. October means Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and so much more. It's such a wonderful time for Walt Disney World.

Rachel, your question about MagicBand is a really common and popular question. Guests frequently ask about associating their MagicBand to a personal credit card. While MagicBand can work a lot of magic, like giving you access to your Resort hotel room, linking your theme park admission and your FastPass+ selections, linking to your Disney PhotoPass Service, and charging shopping and dining to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room account, your MagicBand itself is not a payment device that would connect with a personal credit card. Purchases you make with your MagicBand will be charged to the credit card placed on file when you check into your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. If you have a situation where you have 2 rooms on the same reservation, you can ask at the Front Desk during check-in about placing a separate credit card on file for your own room. I hope this information is helpful!

Rachel, here's wishing you and your family a wonderful Walt Disney World stay.

    Enjoy your Disney!
