Hi! Me and my family are coming to Disney in March, my two boys are 5 and 10. We are staying at the Pop Century. I was wondering if it is worth paying the extra money to stay in a preferred room? Thanks!

If if were in your shoes, I would pay the extra money.  The preferred room isn't so much about the view but more about proximity to the main building where the food court and bus stop is.  I like being close to the main building so while the kids and my husband are getting ready in the morning, I will run over for my morning coffee and breakfast to go for everyone.  Walking with a tray of food can be a long journey, so being close to the room starts the day off well.  More importantly is the walk home after a day in the park.  While my sons usually can go and go all day, once they sit down in the bus at the end of the day, they often fall asleep.  Keeping the walk short from the bus stop to the room is worth any amount of money some nights!
