Welcome to planDisney, Jeremy! I'm so happy to hear that you've got a magical vacation planned with your family this March. What a fun way to make new memories together in 2021!
As part of the
phased reopening process, meet and greet opportunities have been reimagined in such a way that you're still able to catch a glimpse of your favorite Disney Characters from a safe distance. While there are no individual meet and greets at the moment, there are Character Cavalcades at each of the four Theme Parks that are like a mini-parade that happens multiple times a day. You may also see some Disney Characters hanging out above the
Main Street U.S.A. stop of the Walt Disney World Railroad or on the porch at
The Crystal Palace. They're not scheduled, so keep your eyes and ears open because you'll hear them coming! There are also a few modified Character Dining experiences at
Chef Mickey's,
Hollywood & Vine,
Garden Grill Restaurant, and
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera so those are great opportunities to get a few physically-distanced selfies.
Jeremy, you know your daughter's needs better than anyone but I want to assure you that there is still so much magic for you all to experience together, including attractions beyond the
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. You should definitely check out the page for
Services for Guests With Disabilities which has lots of information about accessibility and even includes PDF guides to enjoying each of the four Theme Parks. There is also direct contact information on that page if you want to chat with a Cast Member further about your family's specific needs and how you will all be accommodated on your upcoming vacation, so be sure to take a look before your trip so you're fully informed about all the fun you can have together.
I hope this answers your question, Jeremy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
Jessica
